Recently, one autumn my beau and I took a trip to Rome, Georgia. One of the most fascinating places there is Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Woodrow Wilson’s first wife (Ellen Axon Wilson) is buried there, among other notables.
This is me, at the top of the cemetery, overlooking the seven hills upon which Rome, Georgia is built. I can only find this crazy version with the colorful “flame” at my feet. It was a time when I discovered those photo apps on my smartphone. So flamboyant! My hair is shorter now, too, with a bit more silver among the brown.
This week, I’m on a personal retreat to concentrate on my writing and Holy Week. I’ve scheduled some photographs I took that I think you will finding interesting and maybe spark some discussion.
I will be checking back here every evening, so I’m not totally off the grid. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my blogs this week, and that you have a fabulous week, too!
